Disney Weddings really are a true fairytale. This beautiful Disney Wedding took place on October 3, 2017 at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot. The morning started with my husband and I meeting Caitlin and Jon at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Club Resort where they were getting ready. Our morning stared bright and early at 5am. Upon arrival both rooms were full of energy and excitement for what the day had in store. Caitlin had some great details for me to photograph and Ryan got some awesome shot of all of Jon’s accessories as well. We spent the early morning laughing and having fun before we did the first look with Caitlin and Jon.
Finally, it was time for the first look. We brought Jon outside where we patiently waited for Caitlin. I must say that I really do love when couples do a first look. The anticipation, the emotion and the best candid photos always come along with them. As she made her way towards Jon, my own excitement grew. She looked stunning and I could not wait for Jon to turn around and see her.
Finally it was time to make the drive to Epcot. At this time, the sun was just starting to rise. The lighting was perfect. The weather was perfect. And today was going to be the BEST DAY EVER! Once we arrived at Epcot, we made out way to the Germany pavilion to check out the ceremony set up. It was looking good! It was after that, that Caitlin, Jon, Ryan and I headed over to the Italy pavilion to have some fun and create some magic.
For me, this day was a long time coming. My first Disney wedding. It took a lot in me to keep my composure, but every now and then I may have taken a moment to just soak it all in. Caitlin and Jon were the perfect couple for my first Disney Wedding. I am so thankful for them. As we made our way through the pavilion, we shared many laughs, stories and memories. Ones that I will never forget.
Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony to begin. With their family and friends in attendance the music began. This ceremony was extra special as Caitlin’s sister and father officiated. They were witty and playful and were a great extra special touch to the day. The couple tossed a lucky penny into the fountain, shared their vows, exchanged rings and sealed it with a kiss. To top things off, they made a special exit under a sea of bubbles.
Now it was time to head off to the Grand Floridian for some brunch, dancing and cake cutting. We of course, also took more time to squeeze in some portraits at the resort. What is a Disney wedding without a stop at the grand staircase in the Grand Floridians lobby.
I can not believe how fast their wedding day went by. With lots of moments captured and memories created, this Disney Wedding will be one I will never forget.
