Waterloo has some pretty awesome spots to take photos but one of my forever favourites will be Waterloo Park. No matter what time of year, this park offers a great backdrop to any photo. It is no surprise that Mike & Laura chose those park for their first date and engagement session. We had the most perfect summer evening to wander around the park. We shared so many laughs, especially when I showcased my major fear for Canadian geese. But for real, in my defence, those birds are a whole other level of scary. If you have never had a personal encounter with one, consider yourself lucky.
This lovely couple is planning for a beautiful winter wedding this January 2020 at the Pearle Weddings & Events venue, The Cambridge Mill. This venue is to die for any time of year, but I must say, it does have a special appeal in the winter.
While we did spend a fair amount of time in the park, Laura & Mike did have a change of outfits that would lead us to our second location for their session. Just across the street from Waterloo Park is Seagrams and the CIGI building. Bringing in a more modern touch to their session.
I honestly had so much fun with them and I can not wait until their wedding day, which is coming so soon. Althought I am not the biggest fan of winter, I am a fan of them and look forward to seeing all the magical moments they plan for their wedding day.
