Wanting to jet-set to a unique location for your destination engagement session? That is what Sarah and Michael did for their session. It just so happened that both of us were going to be in Florida at the same time, so we made plans for me to drive down to Boca Raton from Orlando to document their beach session.
The day of their session, it was overcast, very windy, and to our luck, a bit rainy. However, the rain did hold off during their session so we were very happy about that. We had a blast managing the wind on the open beach and on the rocks, I mean just check out Sarah’s hair in some of these pics. The one thing I loved most about this destination engagement session was the playfulness that the couple had during their session. They were simply up for anything. Running or rolling in the sand and getting into the Atlantic Ocean, there was nothing this couple wasn’t willing to do for some great photos.
Thankfully due to the weather that day, the beach was not overcrowded and we got to watch some windsurfers, fishermen and pelicans ride the waves. We came across a few blue jellyfish as well, which Michael so kindly told us are poisonous so I am glad no one in my family happened to step on one prior to the session.
At the end of the day, this destination engagement session in Boca Raton, Florida, was a success. The couple had the best time, we got amazing photos in all the locations they wanted and the rain didn’t put a damper on the day.
