Disney Wonder Wedding: Brittany + Danny

Ever wonder what a Disney Cruise Line wedding would be like with Disney Fairytale Weddings? It is pure magic down right down to the day of disembarkment day. This was my second Disney Cruise Line wedding and I was beyond excited to spend it with an amazing couple. Brittany and Danny’s wedding party set sail on the Disney Wonder ship on February 10, 2019, out of Port Canaveral, Fl. On the day of embarkment, it was a rainy day in central Florida but we were not about to let that put a damper on the fun we were about to have. When we arrived in port the Disney Wonder was sitting there in all of its glory. This was my first time on this ship and I could not wait to get on and explore.

Brittany and Danny chose to get married on the Wonder ship on the second day of our cruise while the ship was docked in Nassau, Bahamas. Our day started with bridal prep. I spend a little bit of time capturing all the accessories that Brittany had chosen for her special day. From there, I went to spend a little bit of time with Danny and the guys. I always get such a kick out of spending time with the guys. But this time was super fun. When I arrived I noticed a pair of socks on the bed that had Danny’s face ALL OVER THEM! It was hysterical. Only to find out they were a gift and the groomsmen were going to wear them that day. At first, Danny was not having it but I was pleasantly surprised to see the guys wearing them at the ceremony.

They chose to have the ceremony at in the atrium, which is the lobby on the wonder ship. Brittany had planned to enter the ceremony down the grand staircase with her parents. I will never forget the big smile that Danny had on his face while she made her entrance. The ceremony was short and sweet and had many moments of love and laughter.

From there, the couple enjoyed a fun reception with drinks, appetizers, cake and even had a special guest appearance from Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Everyone LOVED this surprise and made for some great photo opportunities. From there, we spend the afternoon wandering the ship for photos and made some wonderful memories. The next day, we got off at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, where we roamed the island for a few more fun photos.
