This Elora Mill Wedding in Elora, Ontario, is a high-end luxury wedding venue with Pearle Weddings and Events, and it was the perfect backdrop for Kristen and Harrison’s summer wedding.
Our day with Kristen and Harrison began with the couple’s first look. They opted to do their first look at the main building at Elora Mill. From what I remember, Harrison was a little anxious but was so very excited to see his bride-to-be. Kristen showed up and I immediately fell in love with her bridal gown. It was absolutely stunning on her and the detailing on the bodice was exquisite. I just knew that Harrison was going to adore it, which he did. They shared the sweetest first few moments together on their wedding day.
After their first look, we all headed back to Cedar Cliff, which is an Airbnb rental a few minutes outside of Downtown Elora. This place was was filled with that small city charm and has a lot of rustic character. The perfect place to spend your wedding weekend in Elora. We took advantage of the AC and did a bunch of family, wedding party and couples photos inside near the fireplace, while other family arrived to hang out before there ceremony and enjoy some drinks and snacks. It was such a chill atmosphere and everyone was just so happy. I will say, I think the set we did on the swirling staircase with just the couple may be my personal favourite from the day. It screamed editorial.
Soon it was time to load everyone into the shuttle that was provided by the Elora Mill, to take everyone down to the Foundry building. This is where the ceremony would take place. Once we arrived, we quickly snuck Kristen into the wedding suite that they have. We got some really great photos of her and her bridesmaids in there before she made her way down the aisle to Harrison. This suite is so picturesque when the light hits just right.
Before we knew it, the ceremony was beginning and Kristen was beaming as she made her way to Harrison. All the guests in attendance were wearing the biggest of smiles. You could see and feel just how happy this day was. Before we knew it, the couple was signing their registry and were pronounced as Husband and Wife. Everyone cheered and clapped as their made their way out of the chapel as newlyweds.
Cocktail hour was an absolutely blast. Everyone was smiling, laughing and consuming all the delicious food and drinks. Somehow with all the hugs Kristen was getting, her strap happened to break. Thankfully, Grandmas was on hand to stitch her back together. A precious moment we were able to capture. Another fun moment to mention was when her friend dropped her glass of wine. Their faces were priceless.
Although we did not stay for the entirety of the reception, we did arrange to have their first dance and a few toasts at the beginning of their reception. So we were able to capture some a few sweet little moments for them before we departed.
We absolutely love working with Pearle and this wedding was so seamless and easy. Kristen and Harrison were some of the best clients I have had the pleasure of working with and I can’t wait to see what is in store for them next.
