Fall in love in Pienza, Italy

What can I say about this quant Tuscany town. Pienza, Italy was hands down my favourite stop we made during our trip. It was everything you imagine when you think of Italy. Cobblestone roadways, florals, hills and lots of delicious eateries. Needless to say, it is absolutely a place I would return to sooner than later. These beautiful people below you may recognize from another wedding I photographed last summer in Scotland. Penny is the mother of a friend and past bride, Samantha. When Samantha discovered that we would both be in Italy at the same time, she insisted to Penny that we do a session. Immediately we starting talking about where we could do the session. What outfits to wear. And what day to do the session on. Seeing as neither of us had been, choosing a location was difficult. However, when I visited this town a couple days before, I knew it was the place. I messaged Penny immediately with photos, saying this is it! They agreed and it was the best decision. The morning we arrived in Pienza, it was overcast and warm. The town was bustling with tourist who walked the cobblestone roads. We managed to find many nooks and crannies where people were not.  When we finished the session we took time to sit and have some lunch and catch up. We ate at this little corner restaurant that served the most amazing paninis, pastas and gelato. It was so nice to see these two across the ocean and spend time together and capture their Italian vacation. Until next time guys xo.
