This was my first wedding at the Galt Country Club in Cambridge, On. and the venue was beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for my cousins winter wedding. The entire day was like a scene from a Narnia movie. The fresh snow, the lovely lighting, a beautiful winter princess. It was magical. When Kaitlyn first asked me to photograph her wedding, I was really excited to capture her big day. Not to mention completely honoured to do so. They had a lovely small wedding with nearly 50 guests in attendance. They had a lovely ceremony where they said their vows at St. Ambrose Church in Cambridge, just a short drive to the Galt Country Club. After the ceremony we made our way over to Mill Race Park in Downtown Galt. For the first time in my entire photography career this location was a dead zone. Not one person in sight, which was wonderful for photos. Once we were frozen, we made our way over to the Galt Country Club, where we captured a few more images and then family formals. I think my favourite thing about this venue is the stone fireplace in the grande foyer, oh and the wrap around deck on the upper level. The couple shared in a beautiful first dance and the dinner was delicious. They cut the cake with big smiles on their faces and I am sure they danced the night away with their family and friends. I wanted to wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
