Lakeland, Florida is the location of this beautiful wedding. Chelsea and Brandon had a lovely wedding in central Florida on October 27, 2018. In typical Florida fashion, the sun was shining and the day could not have been any more perfect. My day started with a short drive from Orlando into Lakeland and to my surprise there was little to no traffic on the I-4 which was a great indication on how the day would go. If you are local to central Florida you will totally understand what I mean.
I first met up with Chelsea and her maids at the hotel where they decided to get ready. By the time I arrived hair and makeup were already completed for the most part so I began to do some detail photos. While I was doing this, I sent my second photographer Jaqueline to meet up with Brandon and the guys who were just down the hall. I love that Chelsea chose to do a small reveal with the girls. It always adds a nice little touch to the prep time.
Before we knew it, it was time to head over to the lake where they chose to do their first look. With Brandon already in position, Chelsea made her way out of the limo and approached him. With a little tap on the shoulder, Brandon stood up only to have his breath taken away. Chelsea looked absolutely stunning. Before we headed off to the ceremony site, we spent some time in and around the lake taking some fun portraits with the wedding party. Let me be the first to say that this group knew how to have a fun time! Only made me look forward to the reception even more.
Soon the sun was starting to set and we made our way to the venue where the ceremony and reception would both take place. Chelsea and Brandon chose Haus 820 in Lakeland. This was such a hip and modern venue. I really loved all the natural light and white brick interior. It was very much on trend. The aisle was lined with candles and florals. But the most important decor was all the smiling faces of their family and friends who filled the rows of chairs. One thing I really enjoyed about the ceremony is that they had their rings brought down the aisle but the ring security. Briefcases in hand they delivered the rings safe and sound.
Before long, it was time to get this party started. From excellent food to ever-flowing beverages, the party was in full swing. From toasts to dances and cake cutting and more, guests and the couple seemed to be enjoying their time. We decided to finish off the evening with a fun send off with the wedding party. With party poppers in hand, the couple went in for a dip kiss and the cannons blew! What a great way to finish the day.
Chelsea and Brandon, I can not thank you enough for inviting me along for your wedding day. It was a day I will never forget. But let’s not also forget the fun day we had at Disney Springs the following year for your engagement photos. Those were a good time as well and can be viewed here.
