As a Kitchener wedding photographer I have the blessing of being able to offer clients many beautiful backdrops for their sessions, especially in the fall season. For this session we chose Kitchener’s Huron Natural Area which is a newer park to the region but offers so much natural beauty, really all year round.
Like any great fall engagement session at Huron Natural Area I always suggest doing the session at during golden hour, which is essentially a fancy work for sunset. But you get that warm glow that comes from behind that can make the images super dreamy. Which I personally love and it is my favourite time of day to do sessions.
These two are getting married this summer and I am so excited to document their wedding day. They are fun, hip and so into each other that it really makes my job as a photographer very easy. During their session I had them running, swirling and just having all the fun we could. The best part is when I said to wrap the blanket around her and he did so in the not so right way. Which you will see below, and trust me, it is worth the scroll for a good laugh.
As a wedding photographer based in Kitchener I also love exploring other areas of the city to see where couples may want to do sessions. Some other popular locations include Downtown Kitchener, Victoria Park, Doon Mills, Waterloo Park, Mill Race Park and many more. Lately I have been trying to get into some local coffee pubs to offer some more variety to both my clients and online portfolio.
Needless to say, I think there will be many more engagement sessions at Huron Natural Area in my future as a wedding and portrait photographer here in Kitchener. If you liked this session, check out another engagement session here!
