Listowel Golf Club is a wonderful wedding venue in the South Western Ontario town of Listowel. This all in one wedding venue is the perfect backdrop for both intimate and full scale sized wedding events. It was also the perfect venue for Emma and Tristan’s wedding event. Although they chose to have their ceremony at Knox Presbyterian Church, the couple had a wonderful cocktail hour and dinner with family and friends at the Golf Club.
My day began with the bride. I met Emma at her old apartment in downtown Listowel. She was having a quiet morning getting ready with hair and makeup girl. There was no bridesmaids or loud music. The room was clean and organized. At first, it felt like I was in the wrong place. But quickly came to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that Emma had created for herself. She was excited to marry Tristan. With a sense of ease, she patiently waited to leave for the church. As hair and makeup were finishing off, more and more family arrived at her home. Her sisters and mom got her dresses in her amazing two piece bridal gown. Seriously, this dress was made for a princess. It was designed for Emma! It fit her perfectly. Emma had snacks laid out for everyone to enjoy while they waited for the time to leave. Before we knew it, it was time to head to the church.
Upon arrival at the church, many of the pews were already filled with family and friends who were awaiting the ceremony. Tristan’s niece was the cutest flower girl. She had the biggest smile on her face as she came down the aisle. Soon it was time for Emma. Emma made her way down the aisle to Tristen. Although Emma made the walk on her own, she had her dad pinned to her bouquet for support and love. Another beautiful touch included in the wedding day. Vows were said and rings were exchanged. Emma and Tristan were officially husband and wife.
From here, everyone made their way over to Listowel Golf Club for some drinks and apps. While their guests enjoyed this part of the day, we headed out for some photo time in the gardens of the venue. Thankfully we beat the rain cloud that was heading our way. Emma and Tristan, it was a pleasure to capture your wedding day and I can only hope our paths will cross again in the near future.
