When you are living on Puslinch Lake in Cambridge and love the outdoors, it is an obvious choice to do your engagement session there. This beautiful couple I have known for a long time. You see, Ryan is the younger brother of an childhood friend of mine. They are actually staying at her home, while her and her husband Steve sail around the Caribbean for the year. And Celine, I met her through out mutual love for Volleyball. It wasn’t until last year that I got to spend some quality time with them both while we were away for their cousin’s Jamaican destination wedding. It was at that time that I got to see them together as a couple. They simply are the cutest and are so in love. When Ryan proposed, I was secretly hoping they would ask me to be their wedding photographer. Soon after Ryan popped the question, Celine mentioned to me that they were planning a destination wedding of their own. Again, still waiting for my proposal lol. Clearly, patience is not my strong suit. However, when they finally asked be to join them in Montego Bay in Spring 2019 for their wedding day, I absolutely said yes!
Fast forward a few months and here we are at Puslinch Lake for their very own engagement session. We originally had a date picked for the week before, but mother nature had other ideas for us. But I am so glad. The lighting we had on this day was perfect. I was also super excited when they mentioned we would do photos on their dock and with the canoe on the lake. But to my biggest surprise, they were dressed so perfectly for the location. I really was digging Ryan’s suspenders. I even made note to let him know. We had a lot of fun running through the grass, floating on the dock and just spending some time together. We also made a stop at the Old Marina Restaurant for some fun.
Ryan and Celine, I am so excited for you Jamaica destination wedding in May 2019. I can only imagine how stunning you will both look then.
