Sea Breeze Point is one of Disney’s many wedding locations on property. Jasmine & Darrell are a couple of Disney loving junkies. They travelled down to Florida from Canada for their special wedding day. I first met this lovely couple when they were members of another wedding party for a couple I photographed. We immediately hit it off, as all Disney loving people do. When they first told me they were intending on having a Walt Disney World wedding, I secretly was hoping they would contact me. When they did, I was over the moon excited. For me, Disney is my second home. I am here all the time and just love it.
Fast forward several months and it was wedding day. The wedding day was an early start. We (my husband and I) met with Jasmine and Darrel for morning prep. Jasmine and her girls were in the Cars Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. While, Darrell and the guys were hanging out over at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. I love the morning prep. The rush of excitement, anticipation and emotion for the days events. I really loved how Jasmine wore a blush pink dress. Meanwhile, her bridal party were all dressed in white. It was a neat contrast to the photos. Once all the ladies were ready, we took a walk down to where our limo awaited. Soon we were on our way to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.
Us ladies made our way around the property for some fun photos. The lighting and weather was perfect. Although, there was little rain that morning, the clouds were perfect. This allowed us to take photos practically anywhere we wanted. Meanwhile, Ryan and the gentleman were hanging out at Boardwalk as well in another section. Doing what guys do best. Finally, it was time for a ceremony to take place. We made our way over to the ceremony location, Sea Breeze Point. This is a beautiful gazebo overlooking the lake along the boardwalk. This was one moment of the day that I was really looking forward to. I knew that I would be getting an emotional first look from Darrell. He did not disappoint. The love he has for Jasmine is undeniable. The couple shared in an intimate wedding ceremony with their family and friends and were officially husband and wife.
Once the ceremony was complete, we made our way to Disney’s Epcot Park. The couple chose The Living Seas in The Coral Reef Restaurant for their brunch reception. This reception space was super cool. With a view into the large aquarium the kids loved it! Okay, maybe some adults too. During the reception, Jasmine and Darrell shared in their first dance. They also had special dances with their parents. Want to know what the best surprise was? Mickey and Minnie made a guest appearance. I will say, I totally geeked out and was loving every minute of it. They participated in their cake cutting, danced with guests and everyone had a great time.
It is hard to believe that this wedding day has already come and gone. I feel like I was looking forward to this wedding for so long. I feel so honoured that I got to participate in their wedding day at Disney’s Sea Breeze Point.
