Who knew the Atrium wedding venue in Burlington was even there?! I remember when I pulled up into this industrial lot I immediately thought I was in the wrong place. But wow! Once you walked through the doors it was like walking into a whole new world. I must say, Jess and Tom picked a top end burlington wedding venue. I can only hope that I can get to photograph another wedding their soon. This Atrium Wedding had the most amazing wedding food I think I have ever tasted. The sirloin strip steak was seriously to die for.
So let’s go back to the beginning. I first met Jess and Tom at the Wedding Ring Wedding Expo when they came to my booth. All I remember is that this couple was too adorable for words and I needed to be the photographer they hired. Well lucky me, they did choose me! We had a lot of fun photographing their engagement session at a local Cambridge wedding venue, Roseville Estates, during their fall open house in 2015. After this session, I knew their wedding day was going to be a lot of fun. Their chemistry was off the hook!
So around comes September 10, 2016 and I left my home in Kitchener to head to meet Jess and her bridesmaids in Burlington at the Atrium. When I walked into the bridal suite it was perfect. This is what I would say is a bridal suite. It was large, had great lighting and there on a pedestal was Jess’ stunning bridal gown. I had never seen such a gown before. To this day, it still may be my most favourite gown. Jess was a glowing bride with love in her heart and excitement in her eyes.
Congrats again to Jess & Tom and thanks again for letting me photograph your beautiful Burlington Atrium Wedding. I wish you nothing but years of happiness and love.
