Scouts Canada Everton Camp

Scouts Canada offers many great locations including Everton Scouts Canada Camp which is where I went last week for a very awesome engagement session with a super cute couple. I love when couples choose out of the box ideas to showcase who they are as a couple. Andrew & Amber met during their years in Scouts. It was their idea to spend the afternoon in Everton and it was so quiet and peaceful. We were the only people in the camp, so that was a bonus to get all the images with not a single person in the background. 

With my backpack full of camera gear in tow, we hiked through he woods, walked along rock cliffs and even tip toes in the river to get some great dip kiss shots on the stepping stones in the river. I really enjoyed how free spirited they were and were always up for all my ideas that I had for shots. 

There is something magical about forest sessions, maybe its that feeling of being connected to mother nature and the smell of the fresh air, but they always have me walking away from the session excited and planning my next outdoor adventure. 

While I wish all my weddings and sessions took place surrounded by the great outdoors, I know there is so much beauty in every location, we just need to discover it. 

We really had a lot of fun roaming around this Scouts Canada Camp and I know the wedding day will be just as relaxed as this couple is. So I will be sure to share those images as well once that day happens.
