Phoenix, Arizona Family

Phoenix, Arizona was good to me. This sunrise dessert session at Papago Park was everything I dreamed it would be. Since it was my first time photographing in the dessert I was beyond stoked to get up early for the session.

This family is seriously one of the nicest families ever. I was lucky enough to meet them all while photographing Timaira’s wedding. Timaira is the beautiful woman in the red dress, last year while on a Disney Cruise. Which was also, totally amazing experience. But it was very nice to see them all again but this time in their home state and city of Phoenix, Arizona.

When researching for places to do photos, I asked a few other friends for recommendations but really relied on Timaira to share some secret or popular spots that she might know. We ended up choosing Papago Park and it was a great decision. The morning of the session we were blessed with a lovely sunset that made the red rock shine bright. Not to mention, the backlight we got when it was time to work with the cactus was insane!

This session really did make me so excited to return to Phoenix again this year and do more sessions in the dessert.
