Hawaii is such a magical place that was more beautiful than I ever envisioned it would be. I was so happy when Jen and Rich messaged me to do a portrait session with them for their honeymoon. Right away, I started to look into locations for them. From a recommendation of a friend, we found Paradise Cove. It was the perfect location for us as we were all staying at Disney Aulani Resort & Spa, which was right next door.
We originally chose sunrise for our session but the weather in Hawaii that week was not working in our favour as it was rainy every morning since we both arrived. So, with my advice, we moved the session to sunset instead. This was tricky as Paradise Cove offers Luau’s that take place in the cove. You would never know by these photos that there were lots of people on the beach.
Jen & Rich got married back in October and waited 8 long months for their Hawaii honeymoon. I am so glad that I was able to capture these images for them to remember this trip for a lifetime. I can not wait to get back to Hawaii one day, hopefully sooner than later.
Although the Disney Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World is a close second, this place totally blew me away.
